Dollar General digital coupons
Dollar General digital coupons are free coupons you add to your myDG wallet in the Dollar General app or on dollargeneral.com, then redeem in store by entering your phone number at checkout. This week, 84 deals in the Dollar General weekly ad depend on one.
How to sign up for Dollar General digital coupons
You need a free Dollar General account. Dollar General’s answer to what myDG costs: “Nothing. Zip. Nada.” To join:
- Create an account in the Dollar General app or on dollargeneral.com.
- Accept the latest terms and conditions.
- Keep your profile up to date. Dollar General also suggests turning on push notifications and DG Mobile Alerts.
myDG is open to United States residents who are 18 or older, and Dollar General allows one digital coupon account per person.
How to use Dollar General digital coupons in store
- Find a coupon in the app or on dollargeneral.com and clip it to your myDG wallet.
- Buy the items the coupon names, in the quantity it asks for.
- At the register, enter the phone number on your account before the transaction is finished.
The savings come off right away. Dollar General’s terms say you must enter the phone number “before completing your transaction at checkout,” so tell the cashier before you pay. Dollar General suggests entering your number on every trip, even without a coupon.
Dollar General digital coupons online and for delivery
When you order on dollargeneral.com or in the app, stay logged in to your account and eligible coupons apply automatically. For DG Delivery, digital coupons apply if the order meets the coupon’s rules, but paper manufacturer coupons and DG Cash are not accepted.
Do DG digital coupons stack?
Not with paper manufacturer coupons on the same item, in most cases. Dollar General’s coupon policy says: “Unless labeled a DG Store Coupon in the Digital Coupon Gallery, DG Digital Coupons are Manufacturer Coupons. Manufacturer DG Digital Coupons cannot be combined with any other type of Manufacturer coupon on the same item in a single transaction.”
Two more rules matter:
- If a digital coupon and a paper coupon conflict on the same item, “the first one applied will be counted toward the transaction and the other will not, regardless of value.”
- You can use digital coupons and DG Cash offers in the same purchase, but not on the same items.
